Banned Books Week - October 5-11, 2025

The term "banned book" refers to a book that is prohibited from use, performance, or distribution. According to the American Library Association, a book is considered banned when it is completely removed from a collection in response to a challenge, which is an attempt to restrict access based on objections from individuals or groups.
At Logan County Libraries, we like to offer a variety of materials and resources to our library patrons. Because of that, we encourage individuals and families to choose what best meets their needs.
